The “Weekend of Reflection and Prayer for the County,” Clark County Prayer Connect was an encouraged time of 26-hours of continuous worship and prayer for our county and the Northwest region. During these hours a total 13 prayer and worship teams and nearly over 300 people participated at some point. We worshiped in various styles, and God’s presence was very real. We prayed together as a large group, in small groups, and individually for some specific requests from the county. We prayed for God’s peace to permeate the families, schools, businesses, and government. We also had specific prayer tables that focused on continued success of Business Owners, County Councilors and Mayor’s Office, Our Lord’s Prayer, and the End of Human Trafficking. We prayed for the Church of Clark County and all it’s congregations. We prayed specifically for Breakthrough 2020 and the youth of Clark County. We read the official proclamation from the County Councilors, we prayed, we worshiped, and we made great connections in the process. We moved through the 26 hours rather seamlessly. God was honored and we believe the answers to the prayers we prayed will show up in our county. A side benefit was the relational connections that were made. Some new relationships were established and some old relationships were reunited. We are grateful to the County Councilors for asking us to pray and for all those who came to worship and pray. We are also grateful to Faith Center for the use of the Matson building.
