Three Unique Opportunities

Saints in Clark County are invited to participate in three unique prayer opportunities.

The purpose of Clark County Prayer Connect is to encourage the Body of Christ in Clark County to connect more deeply through prayer with Jesus, His Bride, and those not yet part of His family.

Three opportunities to see this take place are as follows…  Please let the people in your sphere know about them.

1)      July 21 – Be part of the prayer team for Compassion Vancouver West.   The organizers of this one day free medical/dental/social service clinic at Washington Elementary School want to make sure it is well covered in prayer.  It will involve praying for individuals as well as for the overall event.  Those interested should contact Steve Zimmerman.

2)      July 29 –“Prayer in the Park” –  The All Church Picnic has been canceled because the National Park Service denied a permit.  As an alternative to the picnic – not related to the picnic – there will be people gathering in the area that is north of 5th Street, south of Evergreen, and west of Reserve, (This is just north of Pearson Air Museum) for an informal time to pray God’s blessing/shalom upon our city and county.  Those interested should pass the word along and be there at 3:00 in the afternoon.

3)      August 3 through August 12 – “Prayer at the Fair” – the US Digital Outreach Center will have a double booth (10X20) at the Southwest WA Fair to give the ministries there greater exposure.  As part of this booth, we are looking for 30 people who would be willing to pray in that booth for those attending the fair.  We are asking people to sign up for at least four hours on one day – either consecutive or in two shifts.  The pray-ers will need to pay for their own parking ($5.00), but will receive a free entrance pass to the fair.  Those who are interested should let Dennis Fuqua their desired day and shift(s).

These are great chances for people to get “out of the four walls” and see His kingdom come through prayer.

I trust you are encouraged by what God is doing in your midst.  He deserves our worship – He desires to bless.
